Medieval Times is an amazing show and one I highly recommend checking out if you are in the Dallas area. Seeing that smile on her face was priceless. Of course you can imagine how thrilled my daughter Aubrey was when our knight thew a flower right at her. It’s fun to be able to cheer your knight on and if he wins he will throw out a special flower to a few lucky ladies in the audience. I loved the beautiful horses and seeing the knights in action with real swords is really exciting. Set inside an 11th-century style castle, the two-hour tournament begins.

It’s full of excitement and a lot’s of thrills for the kids. The total length of the show is around two hours. They give you so much to eat that we all had to-go containers at the end. The food is amazing and you will definitely not leave hungry after the show. Don’t worry it’s not as bad as you think and it’s actually quite fun for the kids! There will be three different course which include:Īpple Pastry (Sorry it was so good I forgot to take a photo!) For this show you will be eating your meal with your hands. You will be served your meal throughout the show, and I will warn you there are no utensils. You can choose between Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or Iced Tea and of course you have the option of an alcoholic beverage too, for an additional charge. Once at your table your waitress (Wench) will take your drink order. When you arrive to the castle you are given a colored card which shows you where you will be sitting and what color knight your section will be cheering for. This time before the show really adds an excitement level to the whole experience so I would really recommend taking advantage of it.Ībout 15 minutes before the start of the show you are escorted into the arena. This gives you plenty of time to get your tickets, take pictures, visit the bar, see the horses or even take a tour of the torture chamber. The castle opens up about and hour and a half before the show starts. It was a special experience because none of them had ever been to the show before. This past week I visited Medieval Times with some of my family. I have actually been to the castle three times now, and each time I take away a new experience. Medieval Times is a great family friendly place and perfect for a night of fun, excitement, good food and lot’s of memories. Whether we stay in the heart of the city or in one of the surrounding towns there is always one place that we make time for, Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament Show. We live about 4 1/2 hours away from Dallas and try to visit at least 1-2 times a year. There are so many things to do in Dallas, that you could easily spend several days taking it all in.
If you have never been to Dallas, it’s really a place you should considering visiting. I received complimentary tickets to the show in exchange for my honest review.
